چکیده

Here we provide further discussion of the details underlying the model calculations presented in Fig. 4 in the main text. The model describes the observed s-SNOM phase and amplitude from graphene Dirac plasmons in terms of the wavelength and damping as they depend on local Fermi energy and carrier mobility. Fig. S1 shows an expanded version of Fig. 4 in the main text, with a schematic of the cavity model (a). Eq. 2 of the main text describes the SPP response as: Ψgr = ψ̃gr + ψ̃SPP,0 +∑ i ψ̃SPP,i, (1)

Phase-resolved surface plasmon interferometry of graphene.

The surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) of graphene reflect the microscopic spatial variations of underlying electronic structure and dynamics. Here, we excite and image the graphene SPP response in phase and amplitude by near-field interferometry. We develop an analytic cavity model that can self-consistently describe the SPP response function for edge, grain boundary, and defect SPP reflection ...

طراحی، ساخت و مشخصه یابی پله های فازی شیشه ای برای کاربرد در تداخل سنجی جابجایی فاز

In this paper, we report on the design and fabrication of a low-cost phase shifter for application in phase shifting interferometry. Phase shifting interferometry is a powerful method for surface characterization. It uses interference data recorded during a series of predetermined phase shifts to recover the induced phase by the object surface. These controlled phase shifts are typically perfor...

Polarization interferometry for real-time spectroscopic plasmonic sensing.

We present quantitative, spectroscopic polarization interferometry phase measurements on plasmonic surfaces for sensing applications. By adding a liquid crystal variable wave plate in our beam path, we are able to measure phase shifts due to small refractive index changes on the sensor surface. By scanning in a quick sequence, our technique is extended to demonstrate real-time measurements. Whi...
